Basketball Recap: Trego Takes a Loss

Trego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 57-48 to the Ellis Railroaders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Eagles of the 49-45 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Trego now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Ellis, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Trego will be playing in front of their home fans against Hoxie at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ellis, they will venture away from home to take on Ness City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
