Soccer Recap: Marysville Takes a Loss

If Marysville was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Bowling Green on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Monarchs fell 4-2 to the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Marysville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 169th, while Hilliard Davidson are ranked 42nd).

Marysville has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-4 record this season. As for Hilliard Davidson, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-4-2.

As of now, neither Marysville nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
