Soccer Game Preview: Lee vs. West Brook

The Lee Ganders are taking a road trip to square off against the West Brook Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lee's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 11 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lee's offense. They lost 5-0 to Barbers Hill on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, West Brook earned a 3-1 win over Nederland on Tuesday.

Bravo Matias and Yurem Bachez scored all three of West Brook's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

West Brook's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matchups. As for Lee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Lee suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to West Brook in their previous meeting on February 4th. Can Lee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
