Crossett won the last time they faced Monticello and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Billies with a sharp 13-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Crossett and bumps their season record up to 12-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Monticello, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Crossett will face off against River Oaks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
