Basketball Recap: Steinert Comes Up Short

Steinert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hamilton Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 51-41 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Steinert's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Hamilton, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-15.

When Steinert and Hamilton next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Steinert will try to stop Ewing's eight-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hamilton will take on Notre Dame and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
