Basketball Game Preview: Paint Rock Indians vs. Panther Creek Panthers

The Paint Rock Indians are taking a road trip to square off against the Panther Creek Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Panther Creek took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Paint Rock, who comes in off a win.

Paint Rock will head into Tuesday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Paint Creek on Tuesday. Paint Rock put the hurt on Paint Creek with a sharp 60-37 victory. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Panther Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 42-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Moran.

Panther Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Paint Rock, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Paint Rock came out on top in a nail-biter against Panther Creek when the teams last played back in February of 2023, sneaking past 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Paint Rock since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
