Football Recap: Juniata Starts off Right with Win over Selinsgrove

Juniata gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Selinsgrove Seals by a score of 18-7. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 14-6 victory the Seals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Selinsgrove lost, don't look at Brett Rice. Despite the final result, he rushed for 105 yards and one TD.

Coming up, Juniata will face off against Steelton-Highspire at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give the Indians their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Selinsgrove, they will take on Twin Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
