Softball Game Preview: James Clemens Jets vs. Priceville Bulldogs

The James Clemens Jets will head out to take on the Priceville Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. James Clemens is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

James Clemens' tournament run continued when they took on Sulligent on Saturday. The Jets took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils.

Ardmore hit Priceville with a five-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-2.

Ansley Sheats made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

James Clemens' loss dropped their record down to 13-24-2. As for Priceville, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.

James Clemens came out on top in a nail-biter against Priceville when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
