Basketball Recap: Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fashion Industries last Thursday, Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus came back down to earth. The Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus Knights were beaten by the New Dorp Central Cougars 106-33 on Saturday.

Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for New Dorp, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus will challenge Tottenville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for New Dorp, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-51 win against Ewing on the 5th.
