Softball Recap: England Comes Up Short

England was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Hazen Hornets, falling 17-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 24-9 back in March.

England's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Hazen, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Coming up, England will take on Clarendon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hazen, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-3 defeat against McCrory on the 15th.
