Erath and Sterlington squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Erath had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-4. The Bobcats' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Erath's loss dropped their record down to 25-13-1. As for Sterlington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 22 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-8 record this season.
