Miller came up big in Crestview's 7-6 victory
While Monday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Kerrigan Miller. She was dynamite on Monday, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.
Miller's strong effort led Crestview over Garfield and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
