Manteo extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Easton Alexander. The Redskins were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes on Tuesday for which the team can thank Alexander, who had 14 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Manteo never let Cape Hatteras on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-23.

Manteo's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Cape Hatteras, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coincidentally, Manteo and Cape Hatteras will both be playing First Flight the next time they take the court. The Redskins will head out to face the Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Hurricanes will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
