Basketball Recap: Lindbergh Takes a Loss

Lindbergh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Kirkwood Pioneers and fell 59-26. While losing is never fun, the Flyers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 404th, while the Pioneers are ranked 196th).

Lindbergh's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Kirkwood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-6.

Lindbergh will square off against Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Kirkwood has already played their next match (against Nerinx Hall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
