Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson lost against Diego Rivera back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Democrats lost 3-0 to the Huskies. The Democrats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Jefferson ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-20.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Diego Rivera, they pushed their record up to 16-11 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Math & Science College Preparatory on the 25th. As for Diego Rivera, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Santee on the 25th.
