Basketball Game Preview: Arvin Bears vs. Del Oro Suns

The Arvin Bears will face off against the Del Oro Suns at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Arvin is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering North just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were dealt a 99-19 loss at the hands of the Stars. The contest marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Del Oro didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Golden Valley on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 51-45 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Suns.

Del Oro's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Arvin, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.

Arvin skirted past Del Oro 60-58 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Does Arvin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Del Oro turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
