Basketball Recap: Niles North Finds Home Court Redemption Against MCC

There's no place like home for Niles North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 45-36 win over the MCC Crescents on Saturday.

MCC's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nisreen Khellil, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sundes Taboo, who had eight points.

Niles North's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for MCC, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.

Niles North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-36 defeat against Maine East on the 6th. As for MCC, they have also already played their next contest, a 41-25 win against Aqsa on the 3rd.
