The Hough Huskies gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They came out on top against Hickory by a score of 4-2.
Hough hit Hickory with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Kylee Thompson,
Hailey Koerber,
Maren Goodman, and
Abby Hudson.
Hickory's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hough will take on West Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hickory, they will be playing at home against Ashe County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
