Volleyball Game Preview: Carlmont Scots vs. Mills Vikings

Carlmont has gone a perfect 3-0 against Mills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Carlmont Scots will look to defend their home court against the Mills Vikings at 5:45 p.m. The timing is sure in Carlmont's favor as the team sits on 11 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Mills has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Carlmont won the last time they faced Sequoia, and Hean Ng did his part to make sure it happened again. Everything went Carlmont's way against Sequoia on Wednesday as Carlmont made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Ng, who had 13 digs and one assist. Those 13 digs gave him a new career-high.

Carlmont never let Sequoia on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Mills lost 3-0 to Burlingame on Wednesday.

Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Carlmont, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Carlmont took their victory against Mills in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Does Carlmont have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mills turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
