Softball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central lost against Penns Valley Area back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Central Dragons fell 11-7 to the Penns Valley Area Rams. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexis Fetzer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Kaylee Kensinger was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Central will head out on the road to challenge Everett at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Penns Valley Area, they will take on Huntingdon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Huntingdon's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
