Softball Game Preview: Pawling Tigers vs. Spackenkill Spartans

The Pawling Tigers will face off against the Spackenkill Spartans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Pawling will be strutting in after a victory while Spackenkill will be coming in after a loss.

Pawling is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home back in April. They came out on top against Dover by a score of 12-7. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won four contests in a row dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Spackenkill didn't have quite enough to beat Roosevelt on Thursday and fell 7-6. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Adriana Alessandro and Addison Whitted did some serious damage despite the final result: Alessandro went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI, while Whitted went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Simon, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
