Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln School Lynx vs. Pilgrim Patriots

The Lincoln School Lynx will face off against the Pilgrim Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lincoln School comes in on ten and Pilgrim on six.

Lincoln School is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-37 victory over Davies Career & Tech.

Sarah Berube was her usual excellent self, putting up 19 points along with seven boards and three steals. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in January. Amy Conklin was another key player, earning eight points.

Meanwhile, Pilgrim earned a 45-36 win over Hope on Saturday.

Lincoln School's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Pilgrim, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.

Lincoln School strolled past Pilgrim when the teams last played back in January by a score of 57-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lincoln School since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
