After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Londonderry, Pinkerton was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Dover Green Wave by a score of 12-8. The win continues a trend for the Astros in their matchups with the Green Wave: they've now won seven in a row.

Pinkerton's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Dover, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pinkerton is set to face off against their familiar foe Bishop Guertin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Astros 2.1, the Cardinals 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Dover will square off against rival Exeter at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
