Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Woodward

Woodward came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 51-46 win over the Perkins-Tryon Demons. The Boomers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Demons, too.

Woodward has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Perkins-Tryon, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.

Woodward will have a chance to go back-to-back against Perkins-Tryon: the pair will be back at it again later today.
