Baseball Recap: New Egypt Comes Up Short

New Egypt lost against Princeton back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1.

New Egypt saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Healy, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That double was Healy's first of the season.

New Egypt's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11-1. As for Princeton, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11.

New Egypt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Princeton, they will face off against Allentown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
