Volleyball Recap: Emma Rossmann and Sophia Pereira Secure Win for Kenosha Christian Life

Kenosha Christian Life posted their closest victory since September 6th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Pius XI Catholic Popes 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Kenosha Christian Life was led to victory by Sophia Pereira and Emma Rossmann. Pereira had 14 digs, while Rossmann had seven digs and three aces. That's the most digs Pereira has posted over her last six contests.

Despite the loss, Pius XI Catholic had strong showings from Zoey Bucio, who had 20 digs, and Lilly Walsh, who had five digs and four aces. Bucio has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Kenosha Christian Life's victory bumped their record up to 16-14. As for Pius XI Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-18 record this season.
