Preview: Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights vs. Eldorado Sundevils
The Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Eldorado Sundevils at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Monday, Democracy Prep Agassi Campus was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-52 to Mater Academy East Las Vegas.
Despite the loss, Democracy Prep Agassi Campus saw an underclassman step up: Tai Coleman scored 19 points. Xzaviar Rayford was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Eldorado's three-game losing streak came to an end on Monday. They blew past Southeast Career Tech 66-17 on the road. With Eldorado ahead 35-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Their wins bumped Democracy Prep Agassi Campus to 1-1 and Mater Academy East Las Vegas to 2-1.
Democracy Prep Agassi Campus skirted past Eldorado 67-64 in their previous matchup back in January of 2020. The rematch might be a little tougher for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
