Baseball Recap: Earlsboro Comes Up Short

Earlsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Paden Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 last Monday.

Earlsboro's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Paden, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Earlsboro will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Konawa at 12:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Paden, they have already played their next match, a 19-4 victory against Wewoka on the 1st.
