Sotomayor has gone a perfect 3-0 against Marshall recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The WILDCATS will take on the Rams at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

It was a proper cat-fight when Sotomayor duked it out with O'Connor on Tuesday. The WILDCATS came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Marshall lost 3-0 to Warren on Tuesday.

Marshall took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-15.

Sotomayor's loss dropped their record down to 16-18. As for Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-28.

Sotomayor was able to grind out a solid win over Marshall in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the WILDCATS since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
