Davis Sr. and Franklin are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Blue Devils will face off against the Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Davis Sr. didn't have quite enough to beat Vacaville and fell 5-4. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Devils have lost by just one run.

Lily Lingbloom made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Sophia Bassett was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Franklin fell victim to Oak Ridge and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 6-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.

Julissa Sandoval was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Davis Sr.'s record now sits at 0-2. As for Franklin, their record is now 1-1.

Davis Sr. skirted past Franklin 5-4 in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
