Soccer Recap: Crystal Lake South Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Crystal Lake South was not quite Taft's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Eagles. Crystal Lake South were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Taft apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Crystal Lake South dropped their record down to 6-6-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Taft, their record is now 12-0.

Crystal Lake South didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Dundee-Crown on the 30th. As for Taft, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Lake View on the 29th.
