Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sunny Hills, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Troy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-6 loss against La Habra on the 20th. As for Sunny Hills, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-6 defeat against Santa Fe on the 19th.
