Marietta put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Warren Warriors 69-40. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Warriors are ranked 130th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Loss or not, Warren got some senior leadership from Mackenzie James-McGuire and Sarah Pettey. James-McGuire went 7 of 13 on her way to 19 points and six rebounds, while Pettey posted ten points and six boards. That was a full 47.5% of Warren's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Marietta pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Warren, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Marietta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 66-16 victory against Point Pleasant on the 17th. Warren has also already played their next game, a 36-25 loss against Fort Frye on the 17th.
