Basketball Game Preview: San Mateo Bearcats vs. Terra Nova Tigers

San Mateo is on a seven-game streak of home wins, while Terra Nova is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bearcats challenge the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Terra Nova strolled past South San Francisco with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 57-38. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

San Mateo's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points over those games. As for Terra Nova, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.
