Baseball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

The Clinton Red Tornadoes didn't have quite enough to beat the Coweta Tigers on Thursday and fell 6-5. The Red Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clinton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesus Gutierrez, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Coweta, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4.

Clinton has already played their next matchup, a 9-1 defeat against Pryor on the 9th. As for Coweta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-3 loss against Mansfield Homeschool on the 9th.
