Football Game Preview: Stansbury Stallions vs. Ridgeline Riverhawks + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Brighton Reutzel and Nate Dahle are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Stansbury Stallions will welcome the Ridgeline Riverhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Ridgeline will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Stansbury extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Stallions blew past Tooele 55-33.

Boston Rowley was the offensive standout of the game as he picked up 38 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two).

Meanwhile, Ridgeline hadn't done well against Sky View recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Riverhawks simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bobcats 60-26. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Riverhawks' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Utah football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Bobcats are ranked 32nd).

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Dahle and Jack Clark. Dahle had a great game and threw for 268 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt. Meanwhile, Clark was balling out in the loss, throwing for 327 yards and four TDs.

Ridgeline's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Stansbury, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

We should be in store for an exciting game as the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Stansbury has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 393.4 total yards per game. However, it's not like Ridgeline struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 546.6 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.

Stansbury ended up a good deal behind Ridgeline when the teams last played back in November of 2024, losing 38-20. Thankfully for the Stallions, Jt White (who rushed for 234 yards and three scores) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
