Basketball Recap: Farmington Falcons vs. Wayne Memorial Zebras
Farmington suffered their biggest defeat since February 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through an 89-45 loss at the hands of the Wayne Memorial Zebras. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Zebras are ranked 11th).
Carlos Medlock Jr was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds for Wayne Memorial. The matchup was Medlock Jr's ninth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Tory, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards.
