Baseball Game Preview: Cedar Reds vs. Snow Canyon Warriors

For the second straight game, Cedar will face off against Snow Canyon. The Reds will head out on the road to challenge the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Cedar managed to slip by Snow Canyon the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Reds lost 18-7 to the Warriors on Friday.

For Snow Canyon's part, Porter Randall was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those two hits gave Randall a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Talan Hansen, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Snow Canyon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .562. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Snow Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Cedar, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.
