Football Recap: Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors vs. Trinity Christian Crusaders
Metrolina Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 20-13 to the Trinity Christian Crusaders on Friday. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 39-12 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Although Metrolina Christian Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Isaiah Mayes and Alex Haynes, Jr.
Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed seven in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Haynes, Jr, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Amir Jackson had an outrageously good game for Trinity Christian as he rushed for 122 yards and one TD on only 12 carries. Jackson also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making three total tackles.
Looking ahead, Metrolina Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against High Point Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity Christian, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Howard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
