Volleyball Recap: Wapsie Valley Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It's playoff time, and Wapsie Valley had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Union Knights on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Knights back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Taylor Buhr paced Wapsie Valley's offense, picking up 20 kills. Buhr got some help from Tessa Brunscheon and her 37 assists. Espyn Decker controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The victory (which was Wapsie Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 24-17. As for Union, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-5.

Looking ahead, Wapsie Valley will take on Denver at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
