Basketball Recap: Bay Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bay can now relate to. They were beaten by the Fort Walton Beach Vikings 62-32 on Thursday. The Tornadoes just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Fort Walton Beach found their leader in sophomore SaRuan Newton, who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Abria Jackson, who earned ten points.

Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Fort Walton Beach, they pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Walton Beach, they will face off against Pensacola on Saturday.
