Football Game Preview: Clarksville Generals vs. Crawford County Wolfpack

For the second straight game, Clarksville will face off against Crawford County. The Generals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wolfpack at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Clarksville took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Crawford County 21-20.

Clarksville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Hawkins, who threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes. The Generals are 3-1 when Hawkins posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise. Clarksville's leading receiver Elijah Winburn was Hawkins' top target yet again, picking up 148 receiving yards and one score.

Clarksville's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Crawford County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
