Baseball Game Preview: Poca Dots vs. Buffalo Bison

The Poca Dots will head out on the road to square off against the Buffalo Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Poca is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Poca lost 19-9 to Ravenswood on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Dots have lost by exactly ten runs.

Meanwhile, Buffalo didn't have quite enough to beat Logan on Monday and fell 9-8.

Hunter Rutan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Mason Crouch also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Buffalo's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Poca, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Poca suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Buffalo in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Dots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
