Basketball Recap: Chilton Christian Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus New Life Christian Academy

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chilton Christian Academy walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 61-35 margin over the New Life Christian Academy Eagles on Wednesday. The Patriots pushed the score to 50-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Chilton Christian Academy was led to victory by Cayman Hamilton and Joshua Langston. Hamilton almost dropped a triple-double with 27 points, nine rebounds, and 12 steals, while Langston dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hamilton has scored at least a third of Chilton Christian Academy's points. TJ Lyon was another key player, putting up no points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.

Chilton Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January of 2024.

The victory (which was Chilton Christian Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 8-9.
