Moreau Catholic proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the American Eagles 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Mariners in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won nine in a row.

Moreau Catholic found their leader in sophomore Lucas Dong, who had 19 digs and three assists. Bryan Basante also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.
