Football Recap: Bondurant-Farrar Comes Up Short

Bondurant-Farrar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Newton Cardinals 48-13. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bluejays of the 49-28 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Bondurant-Farrar's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Newton, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Looking ahead, Bondurant-Farrar will head out to square off against A-D-M at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bluejays will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Newton, they will face off against Indianola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
