After flying high against Sandburg on Tuesday, Lincoln-Way Central came back down to earth. The Knights took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lockport Porters on Friday. Lincoln-Way Central's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Lincoln-Way Central's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Lockport, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2-2.
