Brevard Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 72-35 loss at the hands of the South Fork Bulldogs. The contest marked the War Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Brevard Christian lost, don't look at Samuel Mitchell. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Mitchell also posted three blocks, which is notable because the War Eagles are 2-1 when he posts at least three blocks, but 1-2 otherwise.

Brevard Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for South Fork, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
