Basketball Recap: Beulah's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

Beulah dropped to 5-2 on Tuesday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They took a 74-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Warriors are ranked 24th).

As for Lee-Scott Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points over those games.

It was another big night for Haiden Harper, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of William Liles, who shot 53% from the field en route to 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Looking ahead, Beulah will square off against Reeltown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they will take on Brookstone at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
