Baseball Game Preview: Columbiana Clippers vs. United Golden Eagles

For the second straight game, Columbiana will face off against United. The Clippers will welcome the Golden Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Columbiana is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Columbiana turned things around against United on Monday. They walked away with an 11-6 win over the Golden Eagles. Columbiana's victory was all the more impressive since the Golden Eagles were averaging only 3.61 runs allowed on the season.

For United's part, Cavan Jackson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.
